The sanctuary at Providence Methodist Church. The church is very old and had to be rolled on logs away from the edge of the canyon to keep from falling into the canyon. The sanctuary is normally open, but they ask please to only take photos and only leave footprints. If you get a chance go by and see it. Hope you enjoy!!

Who would have thought it would be open! I just kept trying doors until I found one open. This church was originally located about 200 yards from where it is now, but would have been in the bottom of the canyon. Many years ago the local people raised it up and put it on logs to roll it away from the edge. What a job, sounds a lot like building the pyramids. Lots of character, texture and a really great cemetary. I hope to visit the canyon again this Friday for some more shooting. Hope you enjoy.
