" Last of the Junkyard "

I promise, no more junk! This is the last photos of Summerville Junkyard, at least until I go back later this year. I still had a great time, especially with the people there. I just hope you all will try and find a place like this to shoot, it is way cool. Hope you enjoyed!!

" Digging "

Just plain fun, this dog found something interesting in this pile of cans. His friend happened to be on the outside looking in, with no way to reach the cans. Just thought this was a cool shot. One of many dogs found at Summerville Junkyard. Hope you enjoy!!

" Lunch at Summervilles "

Lunchtime at Summervilles Junkyard. These images were made on my second trip to the junkyard in Aragon, GA. The top photo is Marlin Jones, a retired railroad worker who just comes by to visit and hang out with all the guys. The bottom is one of the men who help run the day to day process at the yard. Everyone I met was great and some of the most friendly people I have ever met. Thanks to everyone who welcomed me. Hope you enjoy!!

" The Beauty of Junk "

Junk, what a strange word. Most peoplr think of something ugly and rusted, I think of something rusted and beautiful. This is one of the really fun things to do in photography, just run around a junkyard photographing junk cars. Some very cool and unique textures and colors can be found throughout. Never hesitate when given the chance to roam around in a junkyard or when you find old cars anywhere. The possibilities are endless and this is one time harsh midday light is OK. Hope you enjoy!!

" The House That Junk Built "

Another image from Aragon, GA, Summerville's Parts. I really enjoyed this place and the people who own and work here. They are extremely helpful and nice to everyone who comes in. This image struck me as very unique, you won't see this everyday. Just for an added touch, if you look directly behind the sunken boat you will see one of the biggest hogs I have ever seen. All in all a very unique and wonderful place to visit. Hope you enjoy!! More to come next week.
