" On The Dunes "

On the dunes for our second morning at Jekyll. Nice sunny harsh light, great for sand shots and not a whole lot of anything else. Hope you enjoy!!

" Above The Ritz "

These images were taken above the Ritz Theater in downtown Brunswick, GA. This is also the gallery where I had a solo show last October and November. It has remained unrenovated for a year now and i was glad. It made for a great place with wonderful light to take the photographers on my workshop. Hope you enjoy!!

" The Marsh "

Here are a couple of marsh images that were taken after sunrise on our first day on Jekyll Island. Both were converted using Silver Efex Pro from an HDR image. I really thought I would be wasting my time to try and cross this area, but found out even at high tide it was only a couple inches deep. I am so glad I did because no one else was willing to try, so I have the only imageas from out in this marsh. Hope you enjoy!!

" Two More From The Beach "

These two were done a little later in the sunrise. The first is an HDR done just before sunrise and the second is a little different. It was shot with a faster shutter to stop the shrimp boat. Hope you enjoy!!

" Sunrise "

Never forget to turn around during sunrise. As beautiful as the sunrise on the driftwood, the trees behind me were equally as beautiful. Hope you enjoy!!

" Jekyll Island-Day Two "

Here are a couple of images made at Driftwood Beach on the second morning of our workshop. It was fairly cild and a little bit windy, but the images were great. We met at the parking lot at 5:15 AM, and started shooting at about 5:30. The secret is to be there long before sunrise and stay until just after when the light gets too harsh. Hope you enjoy!!

" Jekyll Island "

The last of the windy, dreary day one of the workshop. Still all in all a great afternoon for shooting. The light was soft and even and great for beach, dunes and marshes. Hope you enjoy!!
