Let the games begin. The fair is open and the fun begins. One of my favorite memories from the past, back when the county fair was in its heyday. Still lots of fun, but not the same. Hope you enjoy!!

" The Fair "

Time for the fair again. I spent an afternoon at the N. GA State Fair last week. Going back tonight for some evening shots. Hope to be posting a lot of stuff in the next few days. Hope you enjoy!!

" Dead "

This image was taken in a local forest near Buchanan, GA. It is acyually a creek bottom where I hunt this time of year. It is covered by these huge ferns and I found this old dead pine tree that I really liked. The early morning light s

" Kudzu "

Another from the Dallas house. As you can see it has been overtaken by the cudzu, but here in a few weeks it will see frost and will begin to die and open up a whole new look. Hope you enjoy!!

" Red Sheets "

I have photographed inside this home about 3 times and every time it is different. I love the red sheets mingling with the green light reflected off the kudzu vines outside the window. This home has been almost taken over by the kudzu. Hope you enjoy!!

" Day Sleeper "

A final image from the Yorkville home. This is an apparent attempt to sleep during the day, whether the original inhabitants or the squatter. The light is fantastic and so is the color. Hope you enjoy!!

" Homeless Motel II "

Another one from Yorkville. This is my favorite angle of the bed. I liked this version for the darkness and the low angle I took. Hope you enjoy!!

" Peeling "

Gotta love the light in this one, wow! You don't get light like this very often and you better take advantage of it when you do. These old abandoned homes almost always have at least one situation like this. I always spend more time in these rooms. Hope you enjoy.

Just a little slice of the past life in this abandoned home. There is no accounting for the things found in these homes. Hope you enjoy!!

" Homeless Motel "

We found this home in Yorkville, GA, had to crawl through a window to get in. Apparently someone else had been also, as you can see they have been sleeping here. I spent a couple of hours in there photographing and came up with some nice images. More to come, hope you enjoy!!

" The Fur "

The light and the subject make this amazing. The old bed with the rotted fur hanging on it and the shaft of light are incredible. The light from the right side creates the dark shadows. Hope you enjoy!!

" Attic Sale "

You never know what you might find in one of these abandoned homes. Right after this image was taken I accidently ran into the clothesline and shook the clothes and out dropped a huge rat and scurried across the floor. The moral of the story, watch where you walk and shoot. Hope you enjoy!!

" The Way Up "

" The Way Up " was shot in the same old home outside Taylorsville, GA. It was an absolute treasure of images. There is just something about an old abandoned house that moves me, I guess it is the stories it can tell. Hope You enjoy!!

I love this shot of the front door looking out. The color and the crack of light really caught my eye. We actually found this old home out riding around just looking for anything to photograph. What a lucky find. Hope you enjoy!!

" The Kitchen "

Another old abandoned home. It is funny how some homes really don't have a lot of images to offer and others are just filled with opportunities. This old house was filled and I think a lot has to do with furniture being left behind. Also the condition of the interior. The less filled and the worst the condition the less opportunities. " Aragon Mill "

The old abandoned Aragon Mill is a very unique place. It has been almost totally demolished, but there is still a very small part left. This photo was taken in this small area. The kids have been inside strowing the old thread around hence the spider web effect. Hope you enjoy!!
